Melorich Australian Labradoodles
In the back of above picture #1 and as seen below (4th picture) is an incubator which also can be used for emergency transport. There are both emergency and non emergency uses and we believe every pup deserves the best possible care both here and in a hospital setting as well. The incubator can be used right after birthing to help maintain or raise body temperature. The room is kept at 85 degrees "F" for the first week and 80 degrees weeks two through four and then between 70 to 75 thereafter. The incubator, when used is usually at between 96 degrees to 101 depending on the usage
In the cabinet supporting the incubator (picture 1 and 5) are whelping supplies and emergency medications as well as all injectables not requiring refrigeration. All other meds are kept in the food prep room pictured below. We are skilled at tube feeding, rehydrating and treating pups who may be in need. We have a high rate of success
Pups are fed a variety of foods. First they are weaned with reconstituted pure goats milk. Then the milk is blended into a puree of the dry food we use and discussed elsewhere. We also add Natures Variety frozen raw Venison mixture to the food ( this raw can be mixed with dry kibble) WE SPARE NO EXPENSE IN TESTING BREED STOCK, ACQUIRING THE BEST BREED STOCK, AND IN THE NURTURING AND HEALTHCARE OF ALL OF OUR PUPS!!!
